Found a great item Arlington Public Library doesn't own?

The Library values and welcomes suggestions for new titles to the collection!

The Library will not be able to consider:

  • Items already in the library catalog. You can place a hold on items in the catalog.
  • Items that are not yet published or released. We frequently order new material so please check back and see if it has been ordered.
  • If an item is out of print or academic in nature, please consider making an Interlibrary Loan request.

Because of the volume of suggestions we receive, we are unable to notify you about purchase decisions. If we order your item, we will place a hold on it and an automated call or email will let you know when it is ready for you to pick up.

You must have a valid Arlington Public Library card number to suggest an item. Mansfield library cardholders should complete a Suggest a Purchase form from Mansfield.
