Core Classes

English as a Second Language

In conjunction with Texas Workforce Solutions, Arlington Public Library offers free ESL classes for adult residents of Tarrant County.

High School Equivalency

In conjunction with Texas Workforce Solutions, Arlington Public Library offers free HSE classes for adult residents of Tarrant County.

Career Training

For students who already have their high school diploma or equivalency and meet the requirements of the program, free career training is available.

Other Classes

Citizenship Classes

This course is designed to help non-native speakers of English prepare for U.S. citizenship.

Adult Basic Education

Adults who need help with basic skills are encouraged to join our Adult Basic Education program.

Digital Literacy

We have several programs available to help students learn computer skills.

About Adult Education

In conjunction with Workforce Solutions of Tarrant County, the Arlington Public Library offers classes to help you learn English, finish your high school diploma, find a better job, or learn a new skill. All of our classes are taught in person with a few selected classes offered online and are free of charge to all Tarrant County residents.
