September 28, 2019 Female Friends at Book It

Book It 5K and 1-Mile is a fundraiser benefiting the Arlington Public Library System that will bring the community together for a morning of healthy fun.

The event will begin and end at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library.  


7:30 am – Warm-up

8:00 am – 1-Mile Fun Run begins

8:30 am – 5k begins

9:30 am – Awards Presentation




Fall Book Sale

Septemeber 18-22, 2019 at the Meadowbrook Recreation Center, 1400 Dugan St., Arlington, TX 76010


Thursday, 2-7 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Sunday is half price and tax-free day.

Teachers and non-profit groups are invited to select items from the remainders beginning at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday.

The first day of the sale, for FFAPL members only, is when you can choose from the cream of the crop! 
Don't miss out - join today! All proceeds from the sale support the library.
The FFAPL is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that’s supported the Arlington Public Library System since 1987.
