About ArlingCon

ArlingCon Schedule (1)

ArlingCon is a FREE family-friendly pop culture convention hosted annually by the Arlington Public Library in conjunction with UTA Libraries. This event provides a welcoming and educational environment for newcomers and longtime members of the community looking to understand more about science fiction, comics, and anime.

ArlingCon began in 2015 as a half-day event attended by 600 people. With enthusiastic community and sponsor support, ArlingCon has grown to an all-day convention attended by thousands. The convention has had an attendance of over 3,100, more than 30 panels/workshops, 70 vendors and 25 exhibitors. ArlingCon 2020 will include workshops and panel discussions as well as a cosplay runway, cosplay contest, expanded vendor and artist halls, exhibits, local authors, childrens' activities, and more.

In 2020, ArlingCon will be going virtual! Join us on Saturday, June 13 for the same free community-driven convention experience as ever—this year, from the comfort of your own home. Click here for more details about ArlingCon.

ArlingCon is free to attend and does not require registration or press credentials.

Time and date: Saturday, June 13, 2020, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Inquiries: arlingcon@arlingtontx.gov
